Section 19
Part-time employment
: (1) An employer may employ a worker for part-time. But full-time workers cannot be employed part-time without their consent.
(2) The wages of part-time workers should be determined on the basis of working time (hours) or on the basis of the employment contract between both parties.
(3) According to sub-section (2), while determining the wages of part-time workers, it shall be determined on the basis of at least the monthly wages of workers who work full-time at the same level in the same nature of work.
(4) If a worker employed for part-time according to this section is employed in extra time, he shall be paid one-half of the remuneration received in accordance with sub-section (2) for working such extra time.
